All references to the Client are the person who confirms the booking. The Client is responsible for the payment of all charges incurred.
1. GST - All prices are inclusive of GST.
2. Booking Confirmation
Any booking is provisional until Box Catering has received payment which in turn indicates acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. All orders through the Website and electronic mail will be subject to “confirmation of order” acceptance by email from Box Catering.
3. Payment
Unless the Client has been given credit terms, the following terms will apply:- We request payment for all first orders by credit card. Credit terms are only available to clients who order on a regular basis and will be subject to satisfactory credit references and maintenance of the account within the payment term. As part of our credit terms, all new clients must provide credit card details to be held as security and we reserve the right to take any outstanding payments from this card without further notice. Box Catering reserves the right to charge 4% above the total amount outstanding on overdue invoices without notice.
4. Ordering Times
Any orders placed after 3pm cannot be guaranteed for the following day, unless confirmed by our staff. We reserve the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value, if items are unavailable by factors relating to the market, season, supply or any other factors outside our control. Please contact our office in the morning (from 8.00am) and we will advise order availability and delivery time which may incur a 20% rush charge.
5. Order Area - Catchment
Any orders that fall out of our catchment area may incur a special delivery charge, there is a minimum order of $250. Please note that we do not deliver on Sundays.

All the information contained within the "FAQ and Ordering Hints and Tips" page must be reviewed and understood before placing any orders.
7. Food Allergy Disclaimer
Box Catering makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to instruct our food production staff on the severity of food allergies. In addition, we label items with allergen-containing ingredients if the customer has requested it; however, there is always a risk of contamination. There is also a possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation at any time, without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk. Box Catering will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come in contact with while eating Box Catering foods. Customers with food allergies are encouraged to contact Box Catering (Customer Relation Manager, Greg on 0447 680 048 or 0411 425 679 or email info@boxcatering.com.au) for additional information and/or support.
8. Loss and Damage
The client is wholly responsible for all equipment hired from the time of delivery until collection. The client should, in their own interest, ensure that all such equipment is returned. Any breakages, loss or damage will be charged to the Client at full replacement cost.
9. Delivery
We endeavor to meet all delivery deadlines, however we cannot be held responsible for late deliveries when circumstances are beyond our control. We will communicate this in a timely and professional manner.
10. Collection of Equipment
Generally, the collection is done on the same day (afternoon) or on the following working day after the date of delivery, unless a specific date of collection is requested.
11. Complaints
Any complaint shall be made promptly and in any event should be sent by email to the attention of the General Manager of Box Catering Mr Greg Bookallil (info@boxcatering.com.au), not more than 3 days from the date of the event concerned. Alternatively, complaints can be directed to our Customer Relation Manager, Greg on 0447 680 048 or 0411 425 679.
12. Force Majeure
Box Catering shall not be liable for any loss due to any strike, lockout, act of God, act of terrorism, hostilities or any other circumstances outside Box Catering's control. Performance or prompt performance of Box Catering's failure to perform its obligations (whether that failure is due to negligence on the part of Box Catering, employees or sub-contractors or due to other causes) but nothing herein shall exclude Box Catering’s obligation to pay compensation for death or personal injury as required by law.
13. Staff Hiring
If staff are required and invoiced as a separate item, they are charged at a session rate (4 hour session), any extra hours worked are charged at the hourly rate. Additional hours incurred on a function will be charged after the event. Transport must be paid for any staff that work after 10.30pm - it is standard procedure to pay for travelling time.
14. Cancellation
Any cancellation of an event by the client must be notified to Box Catering as soon as possible. In the event that such cancellation is outside 7 days from the time of delivery then you will receive a full refund of the monies paid, by the same method of payment. If it is within 7 days of delivery then 50% of the money will be refunded by the same method of payment. If it is within 3 days of delivery then there will be no refund of the monies paid.
15. Refunds
If the customer is not satisfied with any meal, food or any product provided by Box Catering then we will refund any monies spent on that product that is deemed unsatisfactory.
16. Copyright
a.These terms outline the use of the Box Catering website which shall be deemed enforceable upon your or anyone’s entry into it. By entering our website you automatically agree to be legally bound to these terms. If any of the following terms are, for any reason, not fully enforceable, all other terms shall nonetheless continue to be so.
b.Logos - The Box Catering logos, page headers, footers and icons are copyright of Box Catering. All other company names and logos, and product names mentioned or displayed on our website, are copyright of their respective owners. You are not permitted to replicate, copy or incorporate any material published on this website, into any other work, website or publications that belong to you or a third party, without the prior consent of Box Catering.

Our website is intended to provide visitors with general information about us, our services and our associated companies. It does not intentionally constitute legal or any other professional advice, contract or service.
The website and the information being displayed is provided “AS IS”, and Box Catering makes no express or implied representations or warranties regarding this website or the information on it. Therefore, Box Catering disclaims itself in relation to the accuracy of the information on neither our website nor the accuracy and reliability of any third party websites we may link to. Since Box Catering has no control over third party websites, you accept that you enter such resources via our website at your own risk.
Your use of our website and its information is entirely at your own risk, and you assume full responsibility for any loss or damage that you may suffer as a result. 18. Privacy and data protection
Box Catering respects your right to privacy and WILL NOT collect any personal information about you from your use of our website, unless you have given your express permission to do so. Any information which you do submit to us will not be made available to any third parties, and will only be used by Box Catering in line with the purpose for which you provided it.
The only information we will collect, as a result of you visiting our website will be technical data. This is not personal information and cannot be used to identify users, all we do is track you while on our website which merely helps us identify the most frequently visited pages; but as soon as you leave our website, you cannot be tracked any further.
When you order from Box Catering we need your name, email address, delivery address and credit card number/expiration date. We use this data to process and deliver your order, (including confirmation email). Except as provided in this privacy policy, we will not sell, rent, or disclose this data to any third party without your consent. However, we will cooperate fully should a situation arise where we are required by law or requested by a law enforcement agency to provide information about a customer. From time to time, we use the purchases you make to customise our product recommendations. We also track customer traffic patterns and site usage. Traffic and usage data is used only to improve our sites design and provide our customers with a fulfilling shopping experience.
19. Email subscription - Cancel and Opt-Out
From time to time, we will contact you about special offers and new site features if you have agreed to be included in our email subscription feature on our home page. To cancel our emails, you can send us an email with the words "unsubscribe" or "remove" in the heading or body of the email.
